SUMMARY

Join Baxter Healthcare Corporation as an EMEA Senior Counsel Privacy in Poland. Lead the implementation and management of the Data Privacy program for MPT and Pharma segments in Western Europe, adhering to Baxter’s Global Privacy Policy and GDPR regulations. Collaborate with senior leaders to ensure compliance with data protection laws.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Associate General Counsel (AGC), EU DPO, HST & CPS Europe/ECEMEA, in implementing the Baxter Privacy Office (BPO) program for WE and Swiss geographies.
  • Fostering a culture of privacy at Baxter or equivalent experience, while driving efforts to ensure GDPR compliance and provide authoritative legal advice and counsel on privacy matters independently.
  • Facilitating Privacy Office meetings and serve as the main liaison for Local Privacy Champions (LPCs) in each country and partnering with country leaders and teams to identify privacy-related issues and support efficient resolution in collaboration with LPCs and the AGC.
  • Conducting or supporting internal investigations of potential data breaches and conducting privacy impact assessments under the supervision of the AGC and the BPO.
  • Collaborating with legal teams and LPCs to handle data subject requests in accordance with privacy laws.
  • Drafting and negotiating Data Processing Agreements with Baxter’s vendors and customers and performing due diligence on potential partners regarding data protection compliance.
  • Maintaining up-to-date expertise on evolving laws, regulations, guidance, and directives impacting Baxter internationally.
