Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU’LL DO AT JAMF:

We are seeking a practical, business-minded attorney with a background in software technology and privacy to support Jamf’s growing business. As a Senior Counsel, you will be at the center of our product development efforts, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams during the product development lifecycle. You will provide strategic guidance on a wide range of legal issues, including data privacy, artificial intelligence, and software licensing. You will also lead commercial negotiations with customers and vendors and provide practical and actionable privacy and product subject matter expertise to your colleagues in the Legal and Privacy team. This is a combination commercial and product role and we’re looking for someone who thrives working on a variety of legal issues.

WHAT YOU WILL DO AT JAMF:

  • Partner with Jamf’s Product and Engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle to identify legal and privacy issues, provide practical advice to support innovation, meet global privacy obligations, and incorporate privacy and data protection into product design.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts and related documents including software licensing/SaaS agreements, data processing agreements, technology partnerships, and vendor agreements.
  • Work closely with the Privacy team to assist in developing and implementing global policies, contract templates, training materials and other resources to ensure compliance with data privacy obligations.
  • Stay informed about emerging legal trends and developments in privacy, artificial intelligence, and software licensing (including open source licensing), and advise internal stakeholders accordingly.
  • Assist in establishing best practices, tools, and guidelines to support product innovation and delivery.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic initiatives.
