Senior Crafts Person - Mechanical

GENERAL DUTIES

• Maintain good housekeeping standards adhering to 5S standards
• Health and safety of oneself and others
• Ensure all tools are accounted for in stores each day
• Allocation of work to craft person and sub-contractors
• Co lead Kaizen events
• Assembly quality – right first time
• Use only material specified and allocated for each job
• To discharge all responsibilities in a timely, accurate, conscientious and professional manner
• Work in a flexible and cooperate manner according to the fluctuating demands of the business

MECHANICAL DUTIES

• Pipework – ensure assembly complies with WI1
• Completion of multi section plantrooms
• On time completion of work
• Signing of job cards and test certs
• Hydrostatic or pneumatic testing of jobs

MECHANICAL ROLE REQUIREMENTS

• H & V Apprenticeship or NVQ equivalent or minimum of five years H & V site installation experience
• CSCS Card Holder
• Coach Craft Person/s and Assistants
• Ability to read and understand schematic and GA drawings
