VERTU MOTORS, GATESHEAD

Vertu Motors is the 4th largest automotive retailer in the UK with a network of over 190 sales outlets across the UK. Our dealerships operate predominantly under the Bristol Street Motors, Vertu Motors and Macklin Motors brand names.
We are now recruiting for a Senior Creative Designer to join our in-house studio. Within this role you will be working directly with our internal marketing team and colleagues within the business. You will be responsible for creating and developing artwork for integrated marketing campaigns across all media. You will also be working alongside other designers to develop the most effective ways to visually position products, services, solutions, and offers.
This is a full time permanent role with a salary up to £33,000 depending on experience.

The main responsibilities of this role are:

  • Create group branding and guidelines to deliver a seamless approach for all group activity including internal, marketing and partnerships.
  • Drive excellence in creative design across branding, group campaigns and partnerships.
  • Generate innovative and creative ideas that push the boundaries of design.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements, and effectively communicate design concepts and decisions.
  • Stay up-to-date with innovative technologies with a focus on personal skill set development.

For this role we are looking for you to have extensive professional experience in a creative capacity at a digital agency or in-house team. You will also have a wealth of experience working on all media, including press, print, digital banners, emails, campaign landing pages, social media and video. It is essential that you have the ability to work at a fast pace while delivering a high quality creative output.

  • Expert using Adobe Creative Suite programs, Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design and After Effects
  • A strong understanding of artwork layout and typography
  • Ability to create complex graphics, animation, and content for a diverse array of platforms
  • Experience of working with an ESP (Email Service Provider) would be beneficial.
  • A basic understanding of HTML and CSS
  • Demonstrate the required behaviours - commitment, positivity, passion, collaboration and willingness to pass on knowledge
  • Technical aptitude & ability to learn
  • Strong attention to detail & time management
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in teams or independently
