ABOUT YOU

We are seeking an experienced Designer who has a passion for storytelling and bringing ideas to life. You’ll be excited to take on a role that blends design, strategy, and mentorship. If you have experience supporting a transition to in-house creative development, this will be beneficial but not required.

You will succeed in this role if you have the below:

  • Minimum of 3 years in a similar role within a creative agency or in-house environment.
  • A degree in Design, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Spark, Premiere Pro).
  • High level of attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong ability to plan and prioritise
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to maintain effectiveness under pressure.

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

In this newly created role based in South Yarra, you’ll be at the forefront of our transition to in-house creative development. You’ll be instrumental in shaping the creative vision for Village Cinemas marketing campaigns, working from ideation to execution to ensure alignment with our strategic goals. You’ll play an important role during this exciting transition, supporting solutions to workflow, asset storage, and brand adherence, ensuring a cohesive and consistent visual identity across all channels.

Your day to day may include:

  • Manage the creative development for all marketing campaigns, ensuring strategic alignment and creative excellence.
  • Craft engaging content for a variety of platforms including website, social media, eDM, point of sale, on-screen promotions, digital signage, print and large format, local area marketing.
  • Plan and execute creative projects, delivering on time and within scope while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Ensure all creative outputs align with Village Cinemas brand guidelines, maintaining consistency across all platforms.
  • Communicate design decisions effectively to stakeholders and gain relevant approvals at each work stage.
  • Act as a liaison between the marketing team and film distributors to ensure the delivery of best-in-class creative.
