Job Description
QUALIFICATIONS
- A detailed understanding of property finance, including development and property investment
- Experience in underwriting/ credit analysis and executing loans.
- Strong credit and risk analysis, with the ability to identify and mitigate any early warning signals
- Highly numerate with a good understanding of development cashflows/ financial accounts.
- Due Diligence management and analysis (Legal, Valuation and QS reports)
- Confidence and the ability to manage and build rapport with all stakeholders
- Team player with the ability to work across several workstreams simultaneously
- Excellent report writing and general communication skills
- Ambitious with a good understanding of the UK property market
Additional Information
Responsibilities:
- Work with our origination colleagues to structure new loans, ensuring they work for both the client and our risk appetite.
- Write and present detailed credit papers outlining the key risks and mitigants for a deal, with a clear recommendation.
- Manage and analyse all the diligence streams for a transaction, including valuation reports, QS reports and legal documents. Lead legal negotiations with lawyers and borrowers.
- Contribute to the growth of the team, through increasing the size of the loan book, continuously improving processes and designing and implementing new loan products
