Your role
As a Senior Credit Officer Mortgages at Bank J. Safra Sarasin you are an experienced professional with a combination of commercial and residential real estate financing knowledge and provide support to Front Office and other Credit teams of Group entities to deliver mortgage loans to international private and institutional clients.
Your responsibilities
Structure new and existing mortgage financings to meet client needs within Bank’s risk guidelines
Implement approved facilities
Perform annual reviews
Monitor performance of allocated credit portfolio
Liaise directly with external parties, e.g. legal counsels and valuers
Keep abreast of developments in key markets including Germany, Spain, the UK and the US
Your profile
Higher education (university / FH) in finance or business Professional certificate in real estate
10 years of practical experience in the field of real estate finance with a commercial or private bank
Excellent Microsoft Office skills, knowledge in Avaloq is an advantage
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to work with various stakeholder as well as excellent interpersonal skills
Strong work ethics, integrity and high level of accountability
Willingness to take responsibility with capability to work independently
Hands-on mentality as well as ability to work under pressure
Fluency in English; fluency in German is a plus
