We are seeking someone who brings strong technical, analytical, and leadership capabilities. To succeed as a Senior Credit Risk Analyst, ideally you possess:

  • Solid experience with quantitative credit risk analysis.
  • A strong understanding of the regulatory environment and experience in credit reporting.
  • Programming skills in Python, R, SQL, SAS, or similar.
  • Experience in developing BI dashboards to streamline reporting processes.
  • Experience in enhancing data accessibility across systems and leveraging cloud-based solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and can easily interact with all levels of the organization.
  • A passion for mentoring and developing junior analysts, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team culture.
  • Fluency in English in both speaking and writing, as English is the corporate language.
  • A degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field. An advanced degree (e.g., Master’s) is preferred.

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Credit Risk Analyst, you will specialize in credit risk within margin lending and mortgage products. You’ll conduct quantitative credit analysis, contribute to the development of our IFRS9 models, and play an instrumental role in handling regulatory and internal credit reporting. You will also be deeply involved in supporting the push to enhance data availability and simplify reporting within Nordnet’s credit business through the use of business intelligence tools and cloud solutions.
The role also involves refining our credit application models, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and offering mentorship to junior team members. As a senior member of the team, your ability to communicate complex data and risk insights will be critical as you present findings to both external and internal stakeholders.
