Carnival UK is in search of a Senior Entertainment Development Manager who is crucial in supporting our Cunard brand direction and nurturing a high-performing team.

To thrive as a Senior Entertainment Development Manager within the Cunard team, we’re looking for:

  • A creative and innovative leader with experience in the conceptualisation, design and development of a wide range of entertainments products and formats balancing costs with benefits.
  • Experience at a senior level within an organisation of scale and within a luxury sector.
  • An intimate understanding of the leisure and entertainments sector having worked within Cruise / Hotels / Resorts / Theme parks / Theatre.
  • Demonstrate commercial acumen and a commercial approach when managing costs and driving revenue through well designed product offerings.

Key accountabilities include:

  • Lead the Cunard Entertainment Development team of four individuals to develop exceptional, relevant entertainment products for Cunard’s discerning, international guest mix.
  • Build credibility in its wholistic entertainment offering, strengthening brand perceptions and delivering strong guest satisfaction through the creation and leadership of long-term development strategies and associated investment plans.
  • Oversee both long-term strategic development of the entertainment product and event voyage portfolio, ensuring effective performance measurement (NPS and revenue) and cost management is in place

Responsibilities:

Entertainment Development, part of Cunard’s Brand and Product Development team is instrumental in the success of Cunard, defining new standards of Entertainment for us to achieve our aim to set the benchmark for luxury travel. We continuously seek opportunities to exceed our guest expectations and create unforgettable holiday happiness by responding to the evolving needs of our guests, and the ever-changing entertainment landscape.

  • Lead the Cunard Entertainment Development team of four individuals to develop exceptional, relevant entertainment products for Cunard’s discerning, international guest mix.
  • Build credibility in its wholistic entertainment offering, strengthening brand perceptions and delivering strong guest satisfaction through the creation and leadership of long-term development strategies and associated investment plans.
  • Oversee both long-term strategic development of the entertainment product and event voyage portfolio, ensuring effective performance measurement (NPS and revenue) and cost management is in place.

Positioned within our internal structure from CUK15 (entry level) to CUK1 (Brand President), this role is classified as a CUK06, offered as a full-time position, on a permanent basis, we offer hybrid work including up to two days from home.
