Your team and your responsibilities:
TEAM DESCRIPTION
Customer Engagement Marketing (CEM) is a strategic priority within the company responsible for personalised two-way customer communication across all channels based on defined customer journey blueprint with the purpose to increase customer engagement, conversion and optimise customer acquisition costs. We are working with Centre of Excellence pilot markets and range of internal stakeholders to prioritise and deliver data and systems foundation, measurement framework and prioritised journeys.
Responsibilities:
- Lead CEM transformation project: Drive CEM vision and roadmap and effectively manage CEM transformation activities
- CEM Journeys: Create new and optimise existing CEM journeys to improve customer experience across multiple channels
- Stakeholder engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with our markets, understanding their challenges while promoting central vision
- Project management: Oversee the planning, execution and monitoring of CEM projects, ensuring they align with strategic goals
- Strategic Communication: Serve as the key point of contact between central teams and NMSCs, translating business goals into actionable plans and clear communication
- Data and Tools Optimization: Support the integration of current and future tools (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, CDP) to enhance personalization and marketing effectiveness
- Cost Efficiency: Assist in identifying areas for cost reduction, maximizing the benefits of marketing activities
- Leadership: Act as a mentor and leader within the team, providing guidance and insights to other team members
- Develop and track KPIs to measure the success of CEM activities
- Lead the development and implementation of data analytics and visualisation solutions to provide actionable insights for key stakeholders
- Implement required governance for involved agencies and divisions for activities currently in progress
- Ensure One Toyota: Toyota Financial Service (TFS), Toyota Insurance Services (TIS), KINTO and Lexus involvement in journeys definitions and development
Your Profile:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in marketing, Business, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in customer engagement marketing and/or marketing automation
- Proven experience in managing change and working in international environment
- Strong understanding of automotive business but also customer engagement trends outside of the industry
- Leadership & Influence: Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and guide teams across different markets
- Stakeholder Management: Excellent relationship-building skills with a proven track record of managing complex, cross-functional relationships
- Change Management Expertise: Experience in driving transformation, especially in complex multi-market environments
- Marketing Automation Knowledge: Familiarity with tools like Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) is highly desirable
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyse data and identify trends to drive more efficient and effective marketing strategies
- Communication: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages for different audiences
