JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Senior Customer Marketing Specialist you will lead our communication towards our extensive base of existing customers. Your main task is to help us build closer relationships with our long-time customers, educate our customers about Nets’ solutions to help them get the full value from our offering, and drive added value for Nets through cross-selling core products and upselling value-added services to our customers. You will do this by building a comprehensive customer communication setup, including e.g.

  • defining target groups for different messages and email paths
  • building email marketing automation mechanisms
  • making a customer communication content plan
  • creating content for email marketing, website and social media
  • measuring the results of customer communication (customer satisfaction, cross- and upsell value etc.)
  • managing ad hoc customer communication and
  • looking after the customer experience throughout different phases of the customer journey in a variety of touchpoints.

You will be the local main user of marketing automation and CRM tools and participate in the continuous development of tools and processes on the Nordic level. You will collaborate and share best practices closely especially with Nordic colleagues, but also with country organizations and centralized teams across Europe.
You will also be the local point of contact for a centralized Digital Marketing team. You will plan our new customer acquisition campaigns (paid online advertising) together with the digital team that executes our online actions. You’ll also work on SEO and content production for our website and social media.

QUALIFICATIONS

The Senior Customer Marketing Specialist role offers an opportunity to work on multiple domains of marketing but also demands a wide range of skills and capabilities. At the core of the role is the ability to understand and develop the customer experience that our communication creates for different types of customers. For this, a level of analytical capability and ability to work with data is needed. High-quality content creation for multiple channels (email, website, social media) is an essential skill. Interest in and experience in marketing technology is also necessary.
We’re looking for a well-organized self-starter with a hands-on approach to work. You need to be able to develop and execute on your areas of ownership independently, but support from the local marketing team, as well as specialists and stakeholders from the group, will be close by to support when needed and will be always available.

EXPERIENCE AND PROFILE

  • An academic degree in e.g. marketing, business, communication, information systems
  • You come with experience from a marketing role, preferably in the space of marketing automation , customer value management , online marketing or similar
  • Fluent in spoken and written Finnish and English with strong content creation and presentation skills
  • An able user of Excel, PowerPoint, and other standard office software
  • Experience on customer platforms such as HubSpot and Salesforce Marketing Cloud or marketing automation tools such as Marketo and Mailchimp is highly valued
  • Experience in the payments industry or other financial services is meritorious but not required
