ABOUT THE ROLE

An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Customs Compliance Project Manager to join the Finance department in a rapidly expanding and exciting work environment. Working within the Global Trade Compliance Function, you will lead the implementation our of Global Customs Strategy to ensure all Foreign Trade Data is captured within our ERP system for our Decarb programme. You will work with all business units to ensure the order to delivery process in mapped and delivered to ensure customs compliance. Working part of a team as the Decarb team achieving Real Zero by 2030 across Fortescue.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Lead the foreign trade data implementation the project
  • Responsible for all Trade Compliance activities for the project.
  • Aftermarket - Responsible for all operational customs activities throughout the product warranty period, including but not limited to spares, repairs and maintenance
  • Ensure all products and components are captured within our ERP system.
  • Evaluate, implement, and maintain polices for future product release.
  • Work with the supply chain team to ensure trade compliance requirements are captured from suppliers and customers.
  • Assess and implement duty optimisation where possible
  • Work with technical partners to review bills of material and technical drawings for all new product releases.
  • Evaluate and implement a system to capture data to allow for Free Trade Agreements to be utilised.
  • Work with our central indirect tax team.
  • Audit and Monitoring – Develop and implement an audit plan for the project
  • Provide consultancy relation to Customs Compliance
  • Work closely with the Logistics and Service delivery team to ensure timely export of products.
