Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE:
As a key member of the Cyber Security team, this role will collaborate with the Technical Assurance Lead to enhance our organisations security posture.
The role will be responsible for assisting in the triage and advising on vulnerability remediation, organising and coordinating penetration testing and managing bug bounty findings.
This role is a 12-month fixed term opportunity to cover for maternity leave.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the security team in triaging, escalating and monitoring security issues from many heterogeneous sources such as penetration tests, bug bounty programs, vulnerability assessments and control assessments
- Co-ordinate regular penetration testing and control assessments of prioritised applications and systems within Origin
- Perform deep analysis of security issues to provide detailed, specific advice on the exposure, impact and remediation actions for each issue to stakeholders
- Issue, track and follow up on remediation actions with stakeholders to ensure continuous and timely remediation of security issues
- Identify trends in and provide reporting on security issues and their statuses for stakeholders and management
- Assist the business, technology and security teams in identifying, assessing and documenting cyber security risks
- Maintain high quality documentation of Origin’s cyber security risk and assurance management practices, processes, procedures, and templates
- Perform second line risk and control assurance over the design and effectiveness of key cyber controls
- Provide support for various improvement initiatives/projects to continuously uplift Origin’s cyber security controls.
