Description:

THE OPPORTUNITY:

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Cyber Security Analyst to join our global team in Brisbane, on a full-time permanent basis.
The Senior Cyber Security Analyst is responsible for implementation and maintenance of advanced security controls, conducting comprehensive security assessments, managing and responding to complex security incidents, and providing expert technical guidance.

Some of your main responsibilities will be;

  • Oversee and enhance monitoring of security alerts and events using advanced security information and event management (SIEM) tools
  • Perform and supervise comprehensive analysis of security logs, network traffic, and data to detect and respond to advanced threats
  • Lead and manage investigations into complex and high-impact security incidents, conducting thorough root cause analysis and impact assessments
  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for cyber security analysts, providing guidance and support

About You:

The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • Relevant Cyber Security and/or IT experience
  • Experience in metric reporting and KPI/SLA management
  • Experience with security technologies such as firewalls, SIEM, DLP and endpoint protection
  • Experience delivering and guiding a high performance team with BAU initiatives
  • Practical understanding of the application of various security tools
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with a track record of establishing and maintaining effective relationships and collaborating with stakeholders
