ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Partner (SCP) to join our growing security team. This is a critical role within our Cyber team as the SCP acts as trusted advisor to our business platform stakeholders by consulting and giving best-practice cyber advice and promoting Digital Trust among internal and external customers as a strategic cyber security objective for Australian Unity. As part of this purpose this includes supporting the implementation and operation of cyber security practices to enable reliability, resilience, and compliance of Australian Unity technology and digital channels against external and internal cyber security threats.
As the SCP you will work with internal stakeholders to translate risk appetite, risk metrics, and mitigation controls into business discussions, reporting KCIs, KPIs, KRIs, risk appetite metrics, and business decisions. Additionally, as a subject matter expert, the SCP plays a key role in defining, implementing, maintaining, and ensuring consistency of end-to-end information security controls and solutions.
Key responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
- Engage with Business Programs and Project initiatives as a Cybersecurity subject matter expert
- Guide both technical and non-technical stakeholders in managing cyber risks to support meeting business objectives, stakeholder expectations and compliance obligations.
- Assist with cyber security advisory, attestations, and third-party contract management, responding to findings and implementing remedial actions as required
- Support the development and maintenance of a coherent set of security architecture patterns and blueprints that guide the development and evolution of business capabilities and enable digital solutions, as well as protecting Australian Unity information assets.
- Assist in the development and implementation of a contemporary cyber security culture and awareness program across our multi-faceted organisation.
- Support cybersecurity risk management and assurance functions
