Responsibilities:
As D365 Developer, you will be responsible for building and supporting business applications using a combination of low-code solutions and custom code. You will work closely with the Technology team and business stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions for a variety of business areas, including Field Services, Customer Service, Sales, Marketing, and more. Your role will involve not only creating new applications and features but also providing ongoing support and enhancements to existing solutions, ensuring they align with evolving business needs.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Oversee the management and optimisation of Dynamics 365 applications, including system configuration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting. Manage related databases to ensure high availability, reliability, and scalability.
- Provide technical leadership in the analysis, design, and implementation of system enhancements. Take charge of developing complex application changes and solutions for ongoing operational improvements.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand system requirements, and design and propose viable, high-impact solutions. Lead requirements gathering sessions, document findings, and ensure the alignment of technical solutions with business objectives.
- Work through the software development lifecycle (SDLC) to implement, test, and release changes to the D365 applications. Collaborate closely with developers, testers, and business users to ensure smooth deployment of changes.
- Act as the lead point of contact for production issues, analysing and resolving technical problems swiftly. Provide high-level support during outages and restore/recovery events.
- Participate in the design, testing, and execution of disaster recovery plans to ensure minimal downtime and business continuity.
- Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on best practices, technical solutions, and system optimations.
