Description:
BASIC REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
3+ years experienced in managing and manipulating large datasets.
Experienced and passionate about enabling tools which support data cleansing and quality.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications with an understanding of database mechanics (e.g., Access, SQL).
Working experience related to automotive technology at an automaker, supplier, or relevant research firm.
Demonstrable communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong motivation and ability to self-organize to achieve difficult targets under tight time constraints.
Fluent in English.
ADDITIONAL PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Strong analytical and data interpretation skills, working experience in KNIME/Python a plus.
Experience working closely with colleagues in other regions and time zones.

The Team
You will be working in the Automotive Supply Chain, Technology, and Aftermarket organization, a global team of over 100 analysts. You will interact daily with a global team dedicated to researching Connected Car and Vehicle Experience related topics.

The Automotive Supply Chain and Technology team at S&P Global Mobility is in search of a Senior Data Analyst in Connected Car with a strong analytical background to:
Maintain databases which track automotive technologies and supplier information while providing analysis and rationale to support the data.
Drive quality projects aimed at enhancing, building, or better maintaining research accuracy around the connected vehicle space.
Develop new data quality processes to support global alignment and prioritization of research enhancements.
Perform data cleansing tasks, including populating vehicle technology data for regions beyond your own.
Support the global team in managing nuanced requests coming from clients to help them understand methodology and topics related to our direct coverage.
