YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, Python, and SAS.
- Strong understanding of statistical methods and their applications.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of database systems and experience with querying and managing databases.
- Familiarity with big data technologies (Hadoop) and cloud-based services (AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
- Excellent data storytelling and presentation skills.
- Ability to work well in teams and collaborate with cross-functional departments.
- Strong time management and adaptability skills.
- A natural curiosity and eagerness to learn and stay updated with industry trends.
- For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.

In this pivotal role, you will play a crucial role in transforming data into actionable insights. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze complex datasets, generate meaningful insights, and support data-driven decision-making processes. This role requires a blend of technical skills, analytical thinking, and strong communication abilities.
THE KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Implement the complete data analytics program strategy, including the integration of Microsoft Power BI, Power Automate, SharePoint, and Power Forms, to streamline business processes and internal controls while supporting compliance objectives.
- Collaborate with various departments to increase the use of data analytic tools, reducing manual processes and enhancing the reliability of decision-making and compliance activities.
- Collect, process, and analyze data using programming languages such as SQL, SAS, or Python.
- Create clear and informative data visualizations using tools like Power BI.
- Develop advanced Excel models for data manipulation, analysis, and visualization.
- Conduct data cleaning and preprocessing to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Translate complex data findings into a compelling narrative for non-technical stakeholders.
- Present insights and recommendations to management and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with other analysts and business professionals to support data-driven decision-making.
