Overview:
Are you an experienced Senior Data Analyst looking for your next career opportunity? If so, this permanent opportunity on our Supply Chain team could be the one for you.
In this role you would execute, but also systemise where possible the gathering, analysing and interpretation of complex data sets to develop actionable insights that will drive ongoing continuous improvement of supply chain processes and optimize results – supporting day-to day operations as well as strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Developing & implementing analytic solutions that deliver, as much as possible, self-service analytics solutions leveraging available data sets (MDG, ECC, S4/HANA, Azure etc) and tools (Analysis For MS Office, Tableau, PowerBI, Python, SQL, Azure DevOps, Airflow, SAP Analytics Cloud, Process Mining)
- Identify & pilot tools and best practices from elsewhere in the PepsiCo system, and externally, that will step change our analytics agenda
- Collaborate with Supply Chain Global Process Leads to identify opportunities to leverage SAP Master Data Management governed data sets to improve business decision making and End To End process effectiveness
- Where relevant lead &/or support proof of concept pilots of analytics solutions (in collaboration with IT) to assess effectiveness in meeting business needs
- Develop analytic capability within Supply Chain Function teams including D&A team through provision of training and guidance
- Drive data driven continuous improvement across SC Ops Center Of Excellence (COE) pillars leveraging Lean Six Sigma methodology
- Provide analytical support for key SC strategic initiatives and complex, high-profile projects; planning and scoping several inter-related initiatives and helping senior-level business stakeholders make informed decisions
- Collaborate with our IT partners to maximise existing technologies (SAP data, Tableau, Business Objects, PowerBI, Sequoia etc), and to evaluate available/future technologies, benchmarking other companies’ data analytics strategies
Qualifications:
Essential Skills:
- 3rd level qualification in Numeric/Mathematical discipline (e.g. Finance, BIS, Engineering or Supply Chain), with a thorough understanding of Supply Chain Operations and data analytics
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a large FMCG operation using SAP and hands-on experience of at least 2 SC Ops COE Pillars (e.g. Inventory, Reserves, Customer Collaboration)
- Strong Data Analytical skills including Excel, MS Access, Tableau, PowerBI & Python
- Background in data driven continuous process improvement. Minimum of LSS Kaizen Leader certification
- Strong collaboration and influencing skills, with experience working in a cross-functional environment
- Experience of working on large-scale and small-scale projects and a continuous improvement orientation
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities on a tight timeline and in a high-pressure environment
- Some functional knowledge of one or more of the following: SQL, MS SAP Analysis For Office, Business Objects
