Senior Data Analyst

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 4 years of technology experience in working with product led company with large-scale datasets
• Analytical and structured thinking.
• Communication skills: Can explain the data from business perspective, communicate clearly and effectively to cross-functional business partners of varying technical levels. Good data story telling skill and be able to handle stakeholders’ expectations.
• Result-oriented and get things done mindset. “We push beyond good” and “We own it and deliver it” are our working culture.
• The senior data analyst must be willing to work with unclean data and involve in instrumental works (tagging, tracking system). We have a lot of new features per quarter, which means DA must be prepared to work with new, unprocessed data.
• Proficient in SQL/Python
• Experience with Looker Studio and Looker is preferable
• Eager to be business matter expert and love to solve business questions and to make impact
• Assembling large, complex sets of data that meet non-functional and functional business requirements
• Identifying, designing and implementing internal process improvements including re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, optimizing data delivery, and automating manual processes
• Building required infrastructure for optimal extraction, transformation and loading of data from various data sources using AWS and SQL technologies
• Building analytical tools to utilize the data pipeline, providing actionable insight into key business performance metrics including operational efficiency and customer acquisition
• Working with stakeholders including data, design, product and executive teams and assisting them with data-related technical issues
• Working with stakeholders including the Executive, Product, Data and Design teams to support their data infrastructure needs while assisting with data-related technical issues
• Experience in Airflow, Gitlab is a plus. This is not a must-have requirement, but good to have if you aspire to grow as a data analyst.
• Familiar with Jira and using Kanban to manage tasks.

• Analytics & Insights Generation: Take an active role in building and measuring KPIs, dashboards, and scalable analytics solutions that directly influence product decisions and outcomes. Conduct detailed analyses of consumer/customer behaviours and journeys across all products, devices, channels, and markets to unearth critical insights and opportunities.

• Data Storytelling & Presenting Narratives: Critique, contextualize, and communicate data insights to provide actionable recommendations. Answer not only the ‘what’ but also the ‘why’, ‘so what’, and ’now what’.

• Advanced Analytics: Apply sophisticated analytics techniques like consumer segmentation, cohort analysis, and survival analysis for specific high-impact initiatives to further enhance insights, actionability and outcomes
• Data Engineering and pipeline: Be responsible for tracking, tagging and building up data pipeline for business. Own ETL process from production server to BQ, and from BQ to various tools that servers internal and external users.
