Senior Data Analyst - Group Internal Audit and Investigation
Group Internal Audit and Investigation (GIAI) unit is the independent control function of the company with responsibility for monitoring that the business is subject to adequate management and control as well as operated in an efficient and appropriate manner. GIAI works with its internal business customers to help develop and improve governance, processes, systems, controls and understanding of risks as well as managing the Integrity Hotline and investigating of compliance concerns.
GIAI helps drive change and continuous improvement by partnering with the business to evaluate, advise and recommend on how Telenor can achieve its goals. We are uniquely positioned as an independent group-wide function reporting to the Board with insight into all parts of the business, and strive to connect people by sharing good practices, our knowledge, experience, and observations.
Are you our new Group Internal Audit and Investigation colleague?
As part of a multinational team encompassing ten nationalities, you will gain exposure to the different businesses of Telenor, gaining a unique opportunity to see the inside of a large Telecom operator with activities in 6 countries. We work with advanced data mining tools, putting the concept of “big data” into day-to-day use for our audits and investigation. We are looking for a person willing to participate to this adventure and gain valuable experience for a 1 year contract.

We offer a challenging and interesting time in Telenor, focusing on the following:

  • Work with data mining (ca. 80% of the time).
  • Extract data from ERP and other telecom related systems & databases.
  • Import the data and perform quality check on the imported data, liaise with the data base owners in case of quality issues.
  • Perform certain tests on the data under the supervision of the auditors and the investigators.
  • Administration support for our IT tools and platforms (max 10%).
  • Perform forensics on specific investigation in Europe or Asia (ca. 10%).

Qualifications

  • Comfortable with technical vocabulary of telecom, IT, Python.
  • Working Experience with Caseware IDEA or ACL Analytics.
  • Strong knowledge of data mining / data analyzing tools.
  • Analytical mind with attention to detail.
  • Appetence for working with complex data set and complex project.
  • Professionally fluent in both spoken and written English.
