HOW WILL I HELP?

We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join our team on a permanent basis. The Risk and Regulatory Delivery team is a specialist delivery function for complex Business & Wealth transformation and are accountable for program specific execution of divisional Risk and Regulatory Change.
The Senior Data Analyst will support our Financial Crime KYC Program. AUSTRAC Regulates the AML/CTF Act. and Part B standard requires us to undertake Know your Customer (KYC) checks for each customer types (individuals, companies, trusts). You will be part of the team that delivers an uplift in capability to meet our obligations for onboarding new to bank business customers, remediation and maintenance for existing customers.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the achievement of Westpac’s strategy by working with stakeholders to elicit, analyse, communicate and validate requirements for changes to business processes, policies, information and systems
  • Perform gap analysis and provide recommendations to business for operational and data workflows
  • Understand and analyse Business portfolio for everything data and deliver solutions with high quality
  • Design end-to-end ETL process for large data sets, ensuring integration with PowerBI and other applications
  • Develop user-friendly and intuitive PowerBI dashboards for value-add insights, act as trusted advisor to business
