SKILLS EXPECTED FROM THE CANDIDATE

• Business acumen with a problem-solving mindset.
• Practical experience in the application of data science concepts to real-life client problems in an advisory/consulting capacity.
• Analytical mindset, paired with an affinity for BI technologies, used for analysis, visualization and reporting of data-based business topics.
• Exposure to finance/accounting business processes and datasets related to financial cycles, e.g. order to cash, procure to pay, fixed assets, etc.
• Analyze large data volumes and have a meaningful comparison, trends and provide insights for better Interpretation, decision making and recommendations.
• Proven experience as a Data analyst. Data scientist skills are an added bonus.
• Experience in performing analytics for either internal audit or external audit purposes is an added bonus.
• Experience in working with large and complex data sets, with coding skills for analytics and data manipulation (SQL, R, Python) and related data modelling.
• Experience in using business intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI)
• Experience in process automation using RPA tools (UIPath preferred)
• Practical knowledge in Excel VBA and advanced excel is an added advantage.
• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written in English), with proven ability to convey complex messages clearly and with conviction
• Appetite for growth through continuous self-learning.

• Technical and functional contribution towards delivering bespoke analytics/analytics-based professional services to solve real-life client problems.
• Analyze large data volumes and have a meaningful comparison, trends and provide insights for better Interpretation, decision making and recommendations.
• Analyze both financial and non-financial data and develop insights and/or factual results that is to be understood and contextualized by finance/accounting users.
• Build various kinds of data models, to independently validate complex client scenarios.
• Present information effectively using data visualization tools.
• Ideate and build solutions to automate finance related tasks, activities and processes to ultimately help improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Collaborate with other specialists in developing analytics driven solutions.
