Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Data and Automation Engineer to join our IT team. In this hands-on role, you will lead the development of our data warehouse, evolve existing ETL solutions, and design automation systems to enhance efficiency. This role focuses on Australian operations while identifying scalable solutions for our UK, Ireland, and NZ teams.

About the Role

As a Senior Data and Automation Engineer, your week will include:

  • Developing and maintaining data warehouses, models, and tools to support the business
  • Designing and evolving ETL pipelines and API orchestrations for seamless data integration
  • Supporting developers in creating BI solutions, reports, and dashboards
  • Implementing automation systems to streamline processes and improve efficiency
  • Ensuring data security, backups, and recovery plans are executed effectively
  • Providing guidance on technology strategy and identifying scalable solutions for global operations

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in ETL processes using .Net C#, API orchestration, and automation systems
  • Experience with tools like Visual Studio, Azure SQL Server, Power BI, and Power Apps
  • A strong understanding of data security, system integration, and performance optimisation
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • A degree in IT, Data Science, or a related field, with at least 4 years of experience in a similar role
