JOB DESCRIPTION

We’re looking for an accomplished and motivated Senior Data Consultant to join our Experian Data Quality team in London, on a hybrid working pattern.
This is an ideal position for a Data expert with experience managing client relationships with a focus on providing consultative guidance on data management and data governance-related principles.
Reporting to the department Director, you will be a committed authority and hold responsibility for the design and management of databases/ data flows to ensure smooth business operations for out clients.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with analytics and data science, and technical expertise regarding data models and database design.
  • Experience working with data processing tools such as Informatica, Talend, Alteryx.
  • Experience of the full data migration process, source to target data mapping and data cleansing, data discovery, data analysis, data profiling techniques and procedures.
  • Technical expertise in MS SQL or Oracle SQL and creating a data dictionary.
  • Client-facing management experience.

Responsibilities:

  • You will develop conceptual data models to improve processes and add strategic value to the business.
  • You will work with the Data Architects, Data Owners and IT Subject Matter Experts to analyse, document, and improve data quality across the applications.
  • You will examine data, processes, and technologies to evaluate the current state and critical problems for both internal operations and external client projects.
  • Be the subject matter expert for data management, data warehousing, data integration, data migration, business intelligence, analytics, and delivery across advisory and technical delivery projects.
