ENOUGH ABOUT US, LET’S TALK ABOUT YOU. YOU ARE SOMEONE WITH:
- A background in professional services or technology vendor as a Technical Analyst, Consultant or Lead in a customer facing role.
- Strong Cloud data platform knowledge supported by good foundational skills in data management, data warehousing, analytics, Business Intelligence and data visualisation. Certifications will be beneficial.
- Exceptional data engineering skills using common data transformation language like Python and/or PySpark and supported by advanced SQL skills.
- Experience in other modern data tools such as dbt, Coalesce, Fivetran etc.
- Experience with common code management and deployment practices using DevOps and code management repositories like Git.
- Good understanding of API implementation
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with an ability to lead a team.
- Strong business analysis and functional design skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical designs.
- Strong data analysis experience.
- Good understanding of agile methodology with an ability to organise and prioritise tasks.
- A passion for all things cloud, strategy, data, insights, analytics and technical data solutions.
- AWS, GCP, Snowflake, Databricks or Azure certification or equivalent hands-on experience required.
- AWS Cloud Engineering, understanding of Pinpoint, Lambda, Glue, SQS, SNS, SES, RDS highly preferred.
- Strong Infrastructure as Code and experience with Python CDK is highly preferred.

The position is wide ranging, covering the entire spectrum of an end to end project in the true sense of the term, expect to have a variety of tasks and responsibilities including business analysis, analytics development, data platform and cloud data engineering. A day in the life of a consultant in our AI & Data team might look like:
- Analysing complex technical problems and technical constraints to help develop innovative cloud data, analytics and BI solutions that exceed client expectations.
- Lead and assist with facilitating workshops and requirement gathering workshops, applying your technical expertise to help translate pain points into actionable items.
- Collaborate across various Deloitte teams to assist with delivering project requirements, including leading on and offshore teams.
- Advising clients and technology leaders to understand how to gain insights, efficiencies and opportunities through implementing future proof data and analytics solutions.
- Introducing and establishing a Data Analytics Strategy or data framework;
- Owning proof of concepts and developing innovative solutions to uncover new opportunities and expand existing relationships.
- Maintain a high level of continuous learning in the latest tools, processes and methodology available in market.
- Apply and grow your specialist skills in areas of Cloud Data Platforms, Automation tools, Business Intelligence (BI), Data Management and/or Analytics domain to help clients achieve successful technology and business transformation initiatives.
- Create and maintain documentation to a high standard.
- Supporting your Deloitte colleagues and leaders to make an impact that matters to your community and clients. Including contributing toward presales activities by presenting demo’s etc.
