Are you passionate about leveraging data to drive innovation and strategic decision-making in the financial sector? At Dynafin, we’re looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer on exciting projects within the banking and insurance industries.
In this role, you will play a key part in designing and maintaining efficient ETL pipelines, ensuring data governance and high-performance standards. You will also contribute to streamlining and automating data processes, providing crucial support for decision-making through actionable insights.

• Autonomously translate business requirements into optimized ETL pipelines, monitoring code performance and ensuring compliance with quality standards.
• Create and maintain documentation, ensuring standardized and reusable code throughout the development process.
• Implement robust quality controls and uphold data governance standards in all ETL processes.
• Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the stability and performance of data pipelines, addressing inefficiencies and suggesting improvements.
• Ensure proper monitoring of existing ETL pipelines and take swift action when issues arise.
  Rationalize and automate data workflows, including job planning, dependency analysis, and sequencing, while addressing IT requirements.

Profile

• 5 to 7 years of experience in designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines, ideally within the finance sector.
• Expertise in programming languages such as Python, Java, and SQL.
• Proficient in managing ETL/ELT processes, including the ability to optimize for performance and scalability.
• Familiarity with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP to deploy and manage data infrastructure.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills, with a focus on data quality and governance.
• Fluency in Dutch, English and French.
