KEY SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in IT, Computer Science or equivalent
• Relevant certifications such as SAP Certified Application Associate, Informatica Certified Professional, or similar are a plus.
• At least 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in successful data migration strategy and delivery associated with a global ERP implementation.
• Extensive knowledge of data structures and data migration tools.
• Experience with data migration processes.
• Proficiency in ETL tools and technologies such as SAP Data Services, Informatica, Talend, or similar.
• Strong understanding of data extraction, transformation, and loading techniques.
• Experience with database management systems such as Oracle, SQL Server, or SAP HANA.
• Strong SQL skills for querying, manipulating, and transforming data.
• Knowledge of data quality principles and best practices.
• Experience in implementing data quality rules and procedures.
• Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve data issues.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to data migration.
• Excellent communication skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and deliverables.

We seek a highly skilled and motivated Senior Data Engineer to join our ERP Project Team on a 2-Year Contract basis . This person will report to the BI & Data Lead and will provide technical support for the data migration to the new ERP solution.

• Create a development, test & production environment with suitable support from IT.
• Support Data Migration Lead in source to target mapping.
• Develop the ETL coding required to migrate legacy data to loading templates, that the SI will then load. Will also have to version all code and provide auditable promotion of this from development to test to production within the Technical Data Migration Team Database.
• Creation of staging tables and other data structures within the Technical Data Migration Team Database. This will include separating data provided for different test phases e.g. SIT, UAT, Cutover and Go Live.
• Profiling data.
• Writing Business Data Cleansing Reports and Technical Validation Reports as data progresses through an ETL cycle.
• Supporting business reconciliation with Reports/Queries as data progresses through an ETL Cycle
