JOB SUMMARY
As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and optimizing our data pipelines and architectures. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that our data infrastructure is robust, scalable, and aligned with our business goals. Your experience with fabrics and Databricks will be essential in driving our data strategy forward.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices in data engineering.
Knowledge of machine learning concepts and experience in integrating ML models into data pipelines.
Experience in managing and working with big data technologies beyond Databricks (e.g., Hadoop, Kafka).

Responsibilities:
Data Architecture & Pipeline Development:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Databricks.
- Implement and manage ETL processes to ensure high data quality and reliability.
- Optimize data storage solutions for performance and cost-efficiency.
Collaboration & Strategy:
- Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
- Contribute to the development of data strategies that align with the company’s business objectives, especially within the fabrics domain.
Data Management & Governance:
- Ensure data security, privacy, and governance across all data platforms.
- Implement best practices for data management, including documentation, testing, and version control.
Technology Leadership:
- Stay current with the latest trends and technologies in data engineering, particularly within Databricks and the fabrics industry.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior data engineers and other team members.
