Description:
Team
The Data Platform team is a key function within the company, responsible for the architecture, development and management of our core data infrastructure, including Snowflake, Looker, Airflow (MWAA) and dbt, as well as managing DevOps configurations for the platform. We focus on building and maintaining a self-serve data platform that empowers stakeholders by continuously adding new features and capabilities. The team upholds governance, security, and compliance standards while providing tools and templates that enable other teams to build and manage their own pipelines effectively.
Your Responsibilities
- Design and develop a scalable data platform to efficiently process and analyze large volumes of data, utilizing Snowflake, Looker, Airflow and dbt.
- Enhance the self-serve data platform by implementing new features to improve stakeholder access and usability.
- Work with cross-functional teams to provide tailored data solutions and optimize data pipelines.
- Promote knowledge sharing within the team to foster collaboration and continuous learning.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in data engineering and bring new ideas to enhance the platform.
Your Profile
- Solid experience with Airflow, Python programming and SQL.
- Experience with cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake.
- Knowledge of AWS services and kubernetes.
- Bachelors in Mathematics, Computer Science or other relevant quantitative fields
- Strong analytical and quantitative approach to problems
- Familiarity with Data Engineering best practices, including Data Quality and Observability.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic and changing environment, with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Eagerness to learn and grow through on-the-job learning.
