Senior Data Engineer (Snowflake/ETL)

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

You’ll join DW & Analytics, where we are building the current and future Data and Analytical solutions in Group Finance.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 1-3 years of experience working with Snowflake hands-on, implementing SPs and UDFs.
• 10+ years of experience with Data Warehouse solutions prior to Snowflake.
• Expert in SQL.
• Expert in designing and developing ELT/ETL flows.
• Familiar with Snowflake. You must know how to check the metadata and get and read SQL and JS-based object definitions or where they are used.
• Fluency in Confluence.
• Practical knowledge of Git.
• Advanced knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts and standard approaches.
• Advanced knowledge of Data Integration concepts (streaming, batch).
• Strong skills in translating business requirements to ETL solutions.
• Familiar with DataStage is an advantage but not a must.
• Knowledge about DS structures: sequences, jobs, etc.

• Developing and maintaining the data pipelines in our Snowflake-based data warehouse.
• Handling ELT/ETL processes to load and extract data from source to target systems.
• Enabling BI developers to create Power BI reports by providing accurate and accessible data.
• Working on new data loads from scratch, requiring strong knowledge in scalable and robust ELT/ETL design and implementation.
