Description:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

  • Relevant experience in Data Governance, Data Management and Data Quality
  • Proven experience in data governance, data management, data quality, or a similar role.
  • Familiarity with SQL for data querying and manipulation.
  • Experience with Collibra or other data cataloging tools.
  • Experience with Data Quality tools. E.g. Ataccama, IDQ, Collibra, etc.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project and PowerPoint
  • Bachelor’s degree is required; master’s degree is desired.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS

  • Works independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations
  • Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Experience with database management systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement data standards, policies, practices, and procedures to ensure data integrity, compliance, and availability.
  • Identify data-related issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve them.
  • Serve as a liaison between Business and technology to ensure that data related business requirements are clearly defined, communicated, prioritized, and actioned.
  • Review and audit data to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal and external regulations.
  • Assist in data management, governance, and data quality of master data requirements with other functional data owners.
  • Create and maintain documentation, including data dictionaries, data lineage, and data flow diagrams.
  • Provide support for data governance initiatives, such as data cataloging using Collibra or similar tools.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops on data governance practices and principles.
  • Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to develop metrics and dashboards for data quality.
  • Participate in the development and support of data governance program strategies, roadmaps, and project plans.
