This is a remote position for Costa Rica and Colombia
This position is Remote to work with a US Company, you will require to have Citizenship or work permit from Costa Rica or Colombia to apply for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive DLP policies and classification standards for our client.
  • Facilitate services and control capabilities for O365 and third-party SaaS services.
  • Integrate DLP solutions with discovery and data governance tools.
  • Manage data classification and tagging to ensure compliance with policies.
  • Analyze data risks, document findings, and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with our client’s software developers and business stakeholders to identify and create DLP policies.
  • Provide surge capacity for the implementation of new DLP solutions as needed.
  • Conduct meetings and work sessions with various teams to ensure DLP policies are properly integrated into the SDLC pathway.
  • Implement and manage DLP controls across multiple services, including email, USB devices, screenshots, and photos.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and industry best practices.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven expertise in Data Loss Prevention (DLP) at both program and implementation levels.
  • Strong knowledge of security policies and data protection measures.
  • Hands-on experience in implementing DLP tools and solutions.
  • Experience with O365 and third-party SaaS services integration.
  • Proficiency in data classification, tagging, and governance.
  • Ability to analyze data risks and document mitigation strategies.
  • Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with developers and business stakeholders.
  • Extensive experience in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience in the financial industry is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with various DLP tools and solutions, including those that manage data loss through screenshots, USB devices, photos, and emails.
  • Previous experience in implementing DLP solutions for a financial institution.
  • Deep understanding of data governance and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Certifications in information security or data protection (e.g., CISSP, CISM, or similar).
