As part of the Data Management Lab (DML) department, we’re responsible for supporting the development, enablement, and implementation of data management best practices that enable the delivery of “ready-to-use” data.

As a Senior Taxonomist, you will be pivotal in the development of taxonomies across the firm, specifically consulting with teams around organizational methods to support a variety of use cases - classification, implementation, validation, and more! The day-to-day will vary, some days you may be reviewing proposed taxonomies and providing feedback. On other days, you may be constructing controlled vocabularies, which will be used as standard reference data. Your work will touch a multitude of domains across Bloomberg, covering many departments like Data, Product and Engineering.
