SR. DATA ENGINEER

Gorilla Logic is looking for a Sr. Data Engineer , who will assist in organizing our client’s system data into dashboards and on demand reports. This is a unique and highly technical role, requiring strong database and reporting experience in delivering leading-edge solutions. Our environment will require you to work effectively with your teammates, of course. But your real success will be measured by how well you couple critical thinking with self-motivation, enthusiasm, and determination.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Experience with database normalization
• Experience working with etl tools
• Experience with SQL Server
• Experience with reporting and BI tools such as Tableau and PowerBI

BONUS SKILLS

• Angular
• Ionic
• .Net Experience

• Work together with DBA in order to understand the current data structure and propose improvements
• Normalize tables and clean up data
• Improve the foreign keys and indexes relationships
• Separate the transactional data from the reporting data in order to improve the performance of the applications in production
• Help to create new reports and improve existing reports
