QUALIFICATIONS

  • University degree in Health Services and/or Health Information Management or related field
  • Certified Health Information Management Professional and a member in good standing with the Canadian Health Information Management Association or DAMA International an asset
  • Two to five years of progressively responsible and related experience
  • Knowledge of reporting and analytics techniques
  • Knowledge of data management domains and best practices
  • Excellent conceptual and presentation skills
  • Solid understanding of clinical documentation standards
  • In-depth knowledge of CIHI and MOHLTC report usage
  • In-depth knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, MED2020
  • Knowledge of SPSS statistical software an asset
  • Certified in Sequel Server, Crystal Reports & Congnos, preferred
