Description:
LAS Senior Data Quality Assurance Analysts are instrumental in ensuring that data and information that is used by the Trust to inform performance, operations and make strategic decisions are of good quality (accurate, valid, reliable, timely, relevant and complete). The Senior Data Quality Assurance Analyst post plays an instrumental role in achieving this. This involves carrying out data quality reviews to assess data sources and reporting arrangements, reporting all the finding of the reviews, monitoring any actions to improve any issues, as well as providing guidance and training on data quality. Working on a variety of diverse projects across the organisation, the role will include many aspects from business intelligence, data analysis, developing visualisation tool, communicating findings and driving forward our ambition of delivering outstanding emergency and urgent care whenever and wherever needed for everyone in London. This role will also involve a mixture of home and office working.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent post as a Senior Data Quality Assurance Analyst within the Data Quality Assurance team. This is an exciting and challenging role for an individual who enjoys working in a fast paced and evolving healthcare environment. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in using their analytical and technical skillset to drive Data Quality improvement and help the organisation to make better decision using better data. The role will also involve communication with colleagues from across the strategic, operational and executive teams. Therefore, confidence in presenting sensitive and complex findings and the ability in working with other colleagues to drive improvement is essential. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of areas such as:
Data Quality
Microsoft Office
Coding (SQL)
Advanced analytics & data visualisation/reporting
Effective communication and presentation
Supervised & unsupervised learning
Extensive experience of producing, analysing and interpreting business intelligence in a work environment, including manipulating data sets, analysing data, presenting findings in appropriate formats and making recommendations
Data visualisation and reporting (Power BI, Excel )
