Craver has been growing fast, so we’re hiring a Senior Data Scientist to join our team and help lead our data initiatives!
We take pride in delivering quality software and innovative solutions to our clients by solving complicated problems using cutting edge technologies with excellent software development practices. We are looking for a collaborative, high-ownership Senior Data Scientist to join and help lead our Product and Engineering team to help us take Craver to the next level. The Product and Engineering team is responsible for maintaining and building all aspects of our Mobile, Web, Restaurant and Admin clients and infrastructure.
In this role, you will join an Agile organization that works iteratively and incrementally, applies a Lean mindset to our work, and rallies together to accomplish shared goals. We are at the early stages of our data journey, so this role will have considerable impact and autonomy to shape our strategic and tactical approach to data.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Typically 6+ years of professional data science experience
- Advanced degree (Masters or PhD preferred) in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
- Proven track record of leading data science initiatives in a fast-paced environment
- Experience building and leading data teams
- Demonstrated expertise in machine learning and statistical modeling
- Strong technical background in distributed systems and big data technologies

Responsibilities:
As a senior leader on our team, you will:
- Lead our data team while working directly with our Executive, Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales teams to identify, understand, analyze, transform, and propose data sources to produce business intelligence insights
- Architect and implement our data strategy using Looker BI and BigQuery on GCP, establishing best practices and frameworks for data analysis
- Design and implement sophisticated data pipelines using Python and Google Dataflow, ensuring scalability and reliability
- Lead the prioritization and execution of our data roadmap, working with stakeholders across the organization to deliver high-impact insights
- Establish and maintain robust data management practices, including data governance, quality assurance, and documentation standards
- Drive the adoption of advanced analytics and machine learning solutions to enhance our product offerings
- Lead the design and implementation of A/B testing frameworks and experimental design
- Provide technical leadership in data privacy, security, and compliance
- Develop and implement data-driven strategies to optimize business operations and drive growth
