WE ARE LOOKING FOR A SENIOR DATA SCIENTIST TO JOIN US!

We are seeking a Data Scientist to join the team of our partner - one of the biggest manufacturers in United Arab Emirates.
The ideal candidate should have a strong analytical background, a passion for problem-solving, and experience working with large datasets. As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing data-driven solutions to optimize our business processes and deliver insights that drive decision-making.

• Collect, process, and analyze large datasets to extract actionable insights
• Design, build, implement, test and maintain data-driven solutions in accordance with business requirements and industry standards
• Monitor data performance and modify infrastructure as needed to improve existing pipelines and models
• Work in a collaborative, cross-functional team, sharing information, valuing diverse ideas, and partnering effectively with global colleagues
• Continuously improve models and algorithms based on feedback and new data
• Keep up-to-date with the latest data science techniques, tools, and best practices
• Bachelor’s / Master’s / Ph.D. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields
• 5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar analytical role
• Experience with Azure
• Knowledge of Python, SQL and experience in Java or Scala
• Experience working with big data technologies such as Spark
• Knowledge of supervised and unsupervised machine learning tools and methods, as well as mathematical programming techniques
• Experience with MLOps practices and platforms
• Knowledge of LLMs
• Excellent verbal communication, presentation, collaboration, and teamwork skills
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach

• Fluent communication in English

• Nice to have: Experience in steel, O&G or manufacturing
