SENIOR DATA SCIENTIST

THE PROJECT AND THE ROLE DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for an experienced A SENIOR DATA SCIENTIST who would join a project for our Swedish client, a global manufacturing company that provides professionals and consumers with forest, park, lawn and garden products and construction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee the entire development lifecycle of AI solutions, from data pre-processing and analysis to model building, fine-tuning, cloud deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
• Design, build, test, and maintain data management systems in alignment with business needs and industry standards.
• Create and execute scripts for database management, deployment, and ETL processes.
• Manage cloud services, particularly AWS and Azure, and other cloud-based storage systems to support data and AI solution development.
• Monitor the performance of data systems and infrastructure, making adjustments as needed to optimize pipelines and models.
• Collaborate with data architects, cloud specialists, software developers, and IT professionals to achieve project objectives.
• Contribute to the creation of feature lists, user stories, and roadmaps that align with the overall product vision.
• Gather and analyze product feedback from stakeholders using data analysis, surveys, concept testing, A/B testing, and other analytical tools.
• Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Stay current on emerging technologies in data science, data engineering, and AI.
• Participate in academic and research initiatives relevant to the broader Enterprise AI organization.
• Support internal and external ideation sessions with a focus on technical innovation and entrepreneurial experience.
• Proactively identify business opportunities through technological innovations.
• Engage in knowledge-sharing activities to enhance the company’s expertise in AI-related topics.
