Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE \UD83D\UDDA5️

  • We are building a new team to face fashion search challenges. You will be part of a multicultural, innovative, versatile, supportive environment that takes work-life balance seriously. To have a data driven company is one of our priorities. The Search team is working on delivering high quality search results from 5M+ items, for 78 markets in 6+ languages. You will work with other software engineers and applied scientists to build Vestiaire Collective’s fashion search & recommendation engine. You will work on hard and fun problems of fashion discovery where personalization matters.

WHAT YOU WILL DO \UD83D\UDC5C

  • Build full pipelines for models to solve use cases for fashion discovery (product recommendation, ranking, personalization…)
  • Collaborate with business and product and other engineers and applied scientists and deploy your solutions to production.
  • Ensure model maintenance, monitoring, and scalability are consistently addressed.
  • Propose and implement R&D POC projects if you identify possible enhancements to the business, and pitch them to the relevant teams
  • You will be expected to take on a leadership role on your projects: you will make the appropriate technical choices (algorithms, data transformation, technologies to use), discuss scope & scheduling with collaborators outside the team, and incorporate feedback as needed.
