For one of our Nordic clients, we are now searching for a Senior Cloud Database Consultant. They have a great chance of becoming Northern Europe’s top supplier of technological services for the midmarket.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Strong SQL Server database administration experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of SQL Server, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with database design, development, and implementation.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell).
  • Experience with Always on and cluster technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good English verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Database architecture and design: Creating and optimizing database structures.
  • Project involvement: Contributing to database-related aspects of various projects.
  • Implementation: Applying database changes and updates as needed.
  • Incident resolution: Troubleshooting and resolving complex database issues.
  • Documentation: Maintaining clear and up-to-date records of database systems.
  • Manage, optimize, and scale customer databases hosted both on-premises and in Microsoft Azure.
  • Participate in project-related tasks, such as onboarding new customer databases.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database-related incidents.
  • Implement customer change requests.
  • Proactively work to improve customer delivery.
  • Take ownership of problem tickets, recommending and implementing solutions.
