For one of our Nordic clients, we are now searching for a Senior Cloud Database Consultant. They have a great chance of becoming Northern Europe’s top supplier of technological services for the midmarket.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Strong SQL Server database administration experience.
- In-depth knowledge of SQL Server, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with database design, development, and implementation.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell).
- Experience with Always on and cluster technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good English verbal and written communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Database architecture and design: Creating and optimizing database structures.
- Project involvement: Contributing to database-related aspects of various projects.
- Implementation: Applying database changes and updates as needed.
- Incident resolution: Troubleshooting and resolving complex database issues.
- Documentation: Maintaining clear and up-to-date records of database systems.
- Manage, optimize, and scale customer databases hosted both on-premises and in Microsoft Azure.
- Participate in project-related tasks, such as onboarding new customer databases.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related incidents.
- Implement customer change requests.
- Proactively work to improve customer delivery.
- Take ownership of problem tickets, recommending and implementing solutions.
