We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join our Digital Data Team at the Money and Pensions Service, an organisation deeply committed to caring, connecting, and transforming lives through financial wellbeing. This role is for a professional with a passion for data analysis and visualisation, who can lead projects and provide insights that drive business decisions.

JOB DESCRIPTION

In this role you will be responsible for the following;

  • Apply tools and techniques for data analysis and visualisation, including the use of business information tools.
  • Identify, collect, and migrate data to/from a range of systems, managing, cleaning, abstracting, and aggregating data.
  • Manipulate and link different data sets, summarising and presenting data and conclusions in formats tailored to user needs.
  • Lead Data and Analytics workstreams from requirements gathering to testing and implementation.
  • Provide leadership, support, and direction to junior Data Analysts on the team.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

you will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience;

  • Previous experience in data analysis within public and/or private sector organisations.
  • Team leader experience and proficiency in Agile Delivery environments.
  • Strong skills in analysis and synthesis, communication, data management, data modelling, cleansing, enrichment, quality assurance, validation, linkage, and visualisation.
  • IT and mathematical skills, logical and creative thinking, and project management capabilities.
  • Knowledge of statistical methods and data analysis.
  • Experience with Adobe Analytics, Adobe Client Data Layer (ACDL), and social media/listening channels such as Brandwatch is highly desirable.
