Responsibilities:
PURPOSE:
We, Boston Scientific, is growing and therefore we are in need to recruit a new member to our demand planning team.
In this role you will coordinate and control the EMEA Demand Planning and New Product Launch (NPL) Regional forecasting activities required to meet customer needs, business requirements, and service level objectives. In addition, supports, monitors and maintains finished goods inventory levels and system integrity.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- SI&OP - Prepare and lead Demand Plan review meetings enabling 24 month rolling forecasts.
- SI&OP - Support Regional Integration & Reconciliation & Exec SI&OP reviews
- Partner and engage with busines stakeholders to determine product portfolio and translate decisions into effective inventory strategies to support the agreed service targets
- Perform Inventory Management to meet both Service and Financial objectives, i.e. Safety stock targets setting and Inventory analysis, Potential Stock out, Inventory Projection, Excess & Obsolescence.
- Manage KPI performance incl. Inventory, forecast accuracy and bias, Service Level, Backorder & Scrap. Perform root cause analysis and initiate corrective action.
- Coordinate new product launches and transitions ensuring balancing customer and financial expectations
- Manage product discontinuation ensuring optimal product availability with minimal write off cost
- Identify and manage Value Improvement Projects working with SC functions, Finance and Divisional partners
- Support Annual/Quarterly Finance budget processes: inventory, scrap, ship volume.
- Monthly KPI reporting and ad hoc performance & product availability communication to Business and Corporate functions.
- Manage ERP and APS master data and monitor system integrity.
- Interact with Divisional Marketing, BUM, Finance and Global/ Regional Supply Chain functions
