ABOUT YOU
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Design Documenter with over 7 years of experience in professional design and construction environments. Ideally, you will have a strong background in commercial projects, coupled with qualifications in Architecture, Building Design, or a relevant discipline. Your expertise will be demonstrated in your ability to prepare accurate and clear drawing packages, guiding designs from concept through to construction.
You’ll bring a collaborative mindset, with a proven track record of working effectively with a range of stakeholders, including clients, building surveyors, and third-party consultants. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, as you’ll need to clearly articulate complex design ideas and ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
Proficiency in Revit is a must, as is the ability to work with templates, use schedules, and amend families. Additionally, you should be comfortable using MS Word, Excel, and Outlook to manage documentation and meet tight deadlines. With your strong organizational skills, you’ll be able to maximize efficiency and deliver high-quality results.

Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
Fleetwood is on an exciting growth journey, and we now require an experienced Senior Design Documenter. This role is responsible for producing high quality design documentation and coordinating projects to ensure delivery in line with project briefs. You will play a pivotal role across a range of projects within our National design & estimating team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
- Produce comprehensive design packages for speculative and live project works, in accordance with project brief.
- Coordinate with third party consultants and relevant authorities as required to obtain documentation in line with the project brief, including but not limited to building certification, client approval, and town planning.
- Ensure effective communication and project standards coordination with clients, internal and external stakeholders.
- Undertake project administration processes for transmittals, submittals, design and construction models, shop drawings and schedules.
- Ensure documentation complies with specifications, building codes/ regulations, standards and legislation, and contract requirements.
- Working to drafting standards and provide peer review of documentation.
- Work collaboratively with team members and other relevant stakeholders.
