JOB DESCRIPTION

We seek an experienced Senior Design Engineer AV/IT to join our team in Dubai, UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and delivering innovative audio visual and IT solutions for various projects and will work closely with clients, architects, consultants, and contractors to understand their requirements and provide design proposals that meet their needs and expectations. You will also coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation and integration of the audio visual and IT systems.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably in electrical, electronics, or telecommunications
• Minimum 5 years of experience in audio visual and IT design and engineering
• Proficient in using design software tools, such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, EASE, etc
• Knowledgeable in audio visual and IT systems, such as video conferencing, digital signage, sound reinforcement, lighting control, network infrastructure, etc
• Familiar with the audio visual and IT industry standards and best practices, such as AVIXA, CEDIA, BICSI, etc
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks
• Willing to travel within the UAE and abroad as required

• Design and develop audio visual and IT systems for various projects, such as corporate offices, hotels, retail, education, residential, and entertainment
• Prepare design drawings, specifications, calculations, reports, and presentations using relevant software tools and standards
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for the audio visual and IT systems during the project lifecycle
• Research and evaluate new technologies and products in the audio visual and IT field
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with clients, architects, consultants, contractors, and suppliers
• Ensure compliance with the relevant codes, standards, and best practices in the audio visual and IT field
