Responsibilities:

ROLE DEFINITION

Technical design, development and building of complex engineering projects involving multiple functions, organisations, products or value chains utilising multi disciplined components and technologies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide effective solutions to technical challenges through strong technical competence, effectively examining implications of events and issues.
  • Researching new materials and competitive products. Organizing, coordinating, and executing the building, testing, and analysis of prototypes.
  • Developing and documenting functional requirements and translating into detail design documents and technical reports.
  • Develop project scopes to address business challenges and opportunities.
  • Overseeing project progress and costs; communicating status with stakeholders and participating functional areas; addressing and resolving problems.
  • Integration with resources across the business with sales and marketing, product development groups, value chain and manufacturing.
  • Participating in buy-build analysis for product components and supporting proposal preparation and cost estimates.
