Responsibilities:

JOB PURPOSE

Burberry is looking for a talented Senior Designer, Special Projects, Events & Experiences to join the Marketing & Comms team. Within this role you will be responsible for creating meaningful creative experiences for the brand across a diverse range of global projects to include events, experiences, and gifting initiatives. You will lead the creative process end to end, from the conceptual ideation, visualisation and creative development.
You will work on diverse global projects, from in-store product activations to major events like London Fashion Week, and everything between. This dynamic role involves creative direction on spirit and mood, physical experience, scenography, lighting, digital, graphics, and branding, along with design direction for touchpoints such as packaging, gifting, and collateral.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Take creative instruction and guidance from Director, Events Production and Director, Events Experiences
  • Develop the creative thinking in line with commercial strategic priorities for Marketing & Client
  • Manage all aspects of the design process; from research and ideation to creative conceptualisation, presenting concepts with impact and clarity
  • Communication of design ideas through reference packs and sketches/hand-drawings, translating vision into to global guidelines in collaboration with cross functional teams.
  • Partnering with and supporting the events and production teams across all projects and where necessary identifying key reputable suppliers to support in delivering the creative vision
  • Lead a new way of working that focuses on a more efficient, streamlined creative process and output regarding the commercial strategy for events production, experiences and special projects - including partnering with agencies and third parties
  • Support on the ground to ensure supplier quality and overall vision is achieved to the highest standard
  • Manage and prioritise tasks and projects, ensuring deadlines are adhered to
  • Maintain a global awareness of cultural trends in music, art and fashion; be on the pulse of industry knowledge to build innovative and relevant creative ideas
