In your role as senior solution engineer, you will get to work first-hand on building and managing the data infrastructure that is at the heart of many of our energy- and trading processes. Building on your extensive experience as a developer/data engineer and your can-do attitude, you will not only be responsible for setting up data ingestion processes, ensuring data quality, and defining robust data models, but you will also be directly involved in shaping and transforming our data landscape. • Design, develop and maintain robust data pipelines and services that are used in (critical) energy trading and sales systems and processes.
• Define, implement and maintain performant data models as well as robust and scalable storage solutions.
• Establish and implement methods and tooling to improve overall data quality and lineage capabilities.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and providing data-driven solutions.
• Also collaborate with our internal infrastructure team regarding on-premises and cloud solutions, specifically build and maintain IaaS tasks.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications, develop solutions, and ensure their cost-effectiveness and sustainability.
