Lancaster University ISS Build function is looking an experienced developer to join the Student Management development team.
The primary focus of the role is to develop and support functionality within the core student record system used by staff and students across the University along with line management responsibilities for other developers.
This role offers huge opportunity to learn and develop while contributing impactful change to a key University service .
You will bring skills & experience across a broad technology base and must include: C# .Net / .Net Core including Winforms, Webforms and API development.
Angular / Typescript
SQL Server development and optimisation
Development of high availability, high throughput, business critical systems as part of a software engineer team following agile best practice
Modern DevOps practices including CI\CD, containerisation
Complex system integrations with internal / external systems and data sources
Coaching and mentoring of other team members
Line Management of other developers
